Trying something new

So, I normally use ms paint for my pictures, but I really like google drawings.
drawings makes the lines look all clean and neat, and I don't get fill colors or the options I do in paint, but it just looks cooler. so, to demonstrate, here are two graphics, one from google drawings and and the other from paint.

here is the one from ms paint.

Chicago Trip Day 2.

So, Day 2 hasn't finished yet. 

but here's what happened. 

woke up around 8. showered, brushed, got dressed. ate breakfast. we played a fun game of hide and seek. 

btw, hide and seek is so not overrated. it's awesome. the bigger the place, the better. 

got on the road about 10. we drove for like 3 hours, then reached indiana dunes national lakeshore. It's basically giant sand dunes on lake michigan. 

the lake was absolutely gorgeous. it's very shallow, and is perfectly blue. we went swimming, and then it started raining. we climbed the sand dune, changed back into our clothes, and drove the 2 hours to chicago.

in chicago, we met my aunt, shruti bua. we're staying in her apartment which is right across the street from trump tower. I saw the building that transformers 3 was filmed at. so coooooool. 

we might go swimming in the pool here after dinner. it's storming here, so we're not going outside anywhere. 

Chicago Trip Day 1.

Ok, so to rememberthis awesome trip that I have gone on with my family, I'm going to blog about it. Yesterday was day 1, but I was not near a computer, so I'm doing it today.

Woke up at 5 am. Put the bags and the cooler in the car, got in the car, and left. Drove for 8 hours, stopping only for food and rest stops once in a while. We reached Toledo, Ohio around 4. There, we stayed in my dad's friend's house for the  night. It was a nice estate house. They had two kids, Ketan, and Jayant. Jayant was 3 and Ketan was 6. Jayant was obsessed with fans and belly buttons.
We went to this nice outdoor mall. It was great. there was a fish pond and a fire pit. we got some ice cream, and then went to a few shops, but we were quick, since they were about to close. Kamala auntie gave me a gift card for delia's.



So, that was day 1 of my trip. Pretty uneventful. but it was nice. not bad at all.

Mothers.

Mothers are the ones you run to when you're hurt. They're the ones you run to when you're upset. They're the ones that look out for you. They're the ones who will always be there for you. But sometimes, they can just be plain annoying. Like last night. My mom took the battery out of my phone and didn't give it back yet. I guess I did something to make her mad, but did she really need to do that? Now I am phoneless. If any of you depend on your phone as much as me, you'll know how I feel without it. Sigh. I hope she gives the battery back soon... Tonight would be good.

Feelings.

I tried explaining how I feel to Rajul. She said I was sad. Being sad is weird; I'm not sad very often. But my whole middle school career is ending in just one day, and I can't help, but reminsce all those good memories I had here with all those great people. I'm going to miss so many people. I've made so many friends, and I hate just leaving them. Especially the ones I just made this year.

I don't care what people say. I will definitely be missing my middle school.

And I'm scared for high school. Am I ready for it?

Taking The Heat.

First day of summer today and it's flipping 96 degrees. SO HOT. I didn't want to stay in all day and feel like a loser, so I invited one of my other friends, Liana, over. We had a water balloon fight. Those things are fun, I tell you. FUN.
